"Leading With" at Youth In Action

At Youth in Action "Leading with" includes Core, Immersion, and Collective learning. At YIA they let the youth lead. Youth tell their stories and listen to others stories to focus on emotional development and their role in the community. The youth also take on a leadership role through peer education. They facilitate workshops to build relationships and respect. The Youth at YIA also take on important roles, such as sitting on the board of directors, and leading fundraisers to discover their passions.
